The World’s Gone Pear Shaped uses humour as an entry point to looking at anxieties, both on a global scale and on a personal level, and serves as a hopeful reminder that despite going pear shaped things can still be fruitful.
This piece was first exhibited in my solo exhibition at MARS Gallery in May 2022.
It was then exhibited in June 2022 placed atop the Shepparton Art Museum as part of the White Night Festival.
In September 2022, it was curated into the AMPLIFY sculpture presentation at Carriageworks as part of Sydney Contemporary.
In January 2024, it was presented at Bundoora Homestead as a finalist in the Darebin Art Prize.
In January 2025, it was installed overlooking the Mornington Peninsula as part of the Quarantine Art Fair.
