Bio

Kenny Pittock is an artist based in Narrm/Melbourne whose practice is centred around sculptures and paintings that playfully critique the seemingly mundane. Hand-crafting the everyday ephemera and experiences of collective memory, Pittock's works are humorous microcosms of the greater anxieties that face our world today.

Since graduating an Honours Fine Arts Degree from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2013, Pittock has held solo exhibitions in Italy, Singapore and Aotearoa/New Zealand, as well as exhibited in many national institutions including ACCA in Melbourne, PICA in Perth, Artspace in Sydney and MONA in Tasmania.

Pittock's work is included in many public collections including Artbank, Bendigo Art Gallery, the University of Queensland and the National Gallery of Victoria.

Pittock’s works have been included in many prizes including the 2024 Sir John Sulman Prize at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, the 2024 Bayside Painting Prize, and in 2024 his work was the recipient of the People’s Choice Award in the Geelong Contemporary Art Prize.

Kenny Pittock is represented by MARS Gallery, Melbourne and Olsen Gallery, Sydney.
