This video was filmed at the National Gallery of Victoria in March 2020.
For the workshop I chose to respond to Édouard Manet's 1880 painting ‘The Melon’ because it is the ultimate celebration of the mundane. The ‘Still Life’ has always been a formative part of my practise, replicating the seemingly mundane.
